Description

Couples therapy can be challenging and intense. It is not for the faint at heart, nor for the passive or timid therapist. Learn how to master couples therapy and gain confidence to work with couples of diverse backgrounds who are facing serious challenges in their relationship. Avoid common mistakes and pitfalls that inexperienced therapists can make. Help couples who are stuck and struggle with intimacy, conflict, trust, misunderstandings or maintaining a deep connection to attune with one another and meet one another’s needs utilizing portions of both the Gottman method and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. Understand the ingredients for healthy and happy relationships while gaining tools and strategies for repair, restoration and reigniting the connection that brought them together.

Marci Gray, RP Related seminars and products


Marci is the lead psychotherapist and CEO of Gray Matter Health, a growing counseling and consulting firm. Her team offers in-person and virtual individual, couple, and family therapy, as well as consulting services focusing on psychological safety and anti-racism for various organizations.

Marci is the author of the Empowerment Planner, a mental health and wellness tool based on CBT and ACT therapy, created to help people focus on and improve their daily wellness. This effective tool has been utilized by clients, the school boards and therapists to help aid symptom improvement and life fulfillment.

Marci has been working with couples in various capacities for over 20 years. Being trained in both EFT couples therapy and Gottman Couples Therapy, she has learned how to marry the two modalities, taking the best principles from each to help couples repair and thrive. She has seen hundreds of couples over the years and has watched their relationships flourish and grow by using the various couples therapy techniques she will teach you based on both the Gottman and EFT approaches.
